A Day Without Immigrants

The reason I attended school today was for a simple reason I wasn't aware of the fact that there was going to be a protest about immigrants. I remember just last year when the same protest went on at school and at work areas as well. I didn't attend school that day because I actually knew about that protest. I still remember that day my mom telling me "You better not go to school today because you have to stand up for all those people just like I am".It was funny because I wasn't even planning to go to school because that is a topic that I truly stand for because of my family and there background. But the reason I support this protest is because we live in a world where the majority of the people are immigrants including my family and not all the time they are treated like others and want us to leave from this country. Sometimes we have to show people that we are important to society no matter if you come from a different country where ever you come from. Because if a day without immigrants left very few people at school and work areas imagine how it would be when President Trump is trying to get us all deported. The world would be a very small place with only self centered people trying to make the world a supposed "better place".
